Feisty, noisy little tramp!
Sideling down the shingled edge
Loudly proclaiming your opinion
every inch of the way
Like a schoolboy arguing his claims
in a ball game dispute.
Stop your shrill scolding
And take back those ragged stems of grass
You've crammed in that crevice underneath the roof.
Ubiquitous clown!
I wonder if God chuckled in
prankful glee
When he created you.
